CAST & CREW

The Jupiter shipwreck project represents a lot of time, money and effort put forth by many individuals. The current team members have all been here in some form or another for decades, waiting for the right time to come back and finish the job.

Scott was here diving with a shovel head in the earliest days of the Jupiter shipwreck find, and he is still here tying up the loose ends today. Through several successful business ventures, he was able to purchase the remaining shares of Jupiter Wreck, Inc. to become 96% owner of the company and the shipwreck itself. Scott has worked tirelessly for years to build the foundation for a successful operation which is un-encumbered by the troubles of the past.

Now, with all the cards finally in place, he intends to step aside and let others come and enjoy the thrill of hunting for (and most likely finding) 370 year old Spanish treasure. The Jupiter wreck sits under 15-30 feet of warm, clear Florida ocean and is accessible via a 5 minute boat ride from the world famous Square Grouper Tiki Bar and Castaways Marina. Scott has forged several strategic relationships which put in place everything that is needed to not only launch the operation, but also piggyback an international television show onto it to pay for it all.

Scott is stepping aside to let others live the dream he got to live, diving for and finding sunken Spanish treasure. He was unfortunately diagnosed with Leukemia in 2016 and has a lot of the world he wants to see before he goes. He wants to watch others make the discoveries from afar as he travels the world, free of the stresses he has endured for most of his life.

Jason was one of the original organizers of "the Jupiter weekend" where the first group of 10 guys answered the call "Who wants to dive for treasure". Shortly after finding his first treasure coins on the Jupiter wreck, Jason left his career in Information Technology and went on to search for wrecks in Belize, the Dominican Republic, North Carolina, Texas and several other parts of Florida, acquiring valuable technical skills and experience skills along the way.

Jason is accomplished in several highly technical and scientific roles, each of which is required to find, document and preserve the remains of ancient shipwrecks. As a competent marine survey technician. he is able to search for shipwreck using complex scientific instruments like Magnetometers and Side imaging Sonars. Jason is also experienced in the art of artifact conservation, a scientific electro-chemical process to remove salts and oxidation from objects recovered from a marine environment. Jason has long been a competent treasure diver and mate on just about any sized vessel (which is saying something considering he started

He returned as a diver, and quickly became 1st Mate of the infamous Seahunter salvage vessel. Jason has worked on the Jupiter wreck in several different capacities over the years, all of which have prepared him to help lead the project into the future.
